Rama is one of the many popular figures and deities in Hinduism , specifically Vaishnavism and Vaishnava religious scriptures in South and Southeast Asia .In Ayodhya , the Indian city believed to be the birthplace of Rama, he is also worshipped as an infant or Rama Lalla. Most of the details of Rama's life come from the Ramayana , one of the two great epics of India. Born as the eldest son of Kausalya and Dasharatha , king of Ayodhya , Rama is referred to within Hinduism as Maryada Purushottama ,literally the Perfect Man or Lord of Self-Control or Lord of Virtue . Rama is the husband of Sita , whom Hindus consider to be an Avatar of Lakshmi and the embodiment of perfect womanhood. This hand carved statue of Lord Rama is 12" high and 4" base. Hand carved in India and very hard to find piece like this now a days.

Making Process:
1. Quality wood selection according to statue size.
2. Marking on the wood is made and cut accordingly .
3. The design of Statue is drawn.
4. Rough shape of Statue is carved.
5. Then Fingers, toes and head work is done.
6. Face features and clothes are carved out.
7. Emery sheet is rubbed all around and smoothened.
8. Cleaning & Polishing are applied and buffed all around neatly to complete a fine Statue.

Its takes about 10 working days to complete a standard size piece.
